The more I seek you, the more I find you

God has encouraged me so much lately and last night I was thinking I wanted to encourage someone else with some of what I have been encouraged with. I love the scripture in Jeremiah 29:13 that says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart" This is so true for me. When I go through the motions of praying and reading my bible, it still might feel good and I can be encouraged but when I seek him with my whole heart, I find him. I find his presence and his peace, and joy, and love. Worship is when I hear and sense him the most. Be encouraged today that he is always with us, and he wants to talk to us, we just have to seek him with all of our heart and listen.

One crazy week!

The past week has been...well there are really no word's. It actually started a week and a half ago when Jared got laid off from his job. Most of you know, but if you don't know yet, he got an email from corporate last Tuesday that they were laying off 850 people and the next day they told him he was one of them. Panic set in immediately, my mind went back to last year when he was unemployed and how HARD it was and it took 4 months to find a job. So I panicked for a day or so and then I prayed. When I turned to God I IMMEDIATELY felt peace. God is so gentle and kind and he reminded me of his perfect plan for our lives, and that he had NOT forgotten us and all we had to do is trust him. I opened my bible to the scripture in Psalm 55:22 that says "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall" This encouraged me and that's what I have been doing. Casting my cares on him! Amazing things have already happened, and he is providing for us and showing me miracles along the way. I believe with all of my heart that He has great plans for Jared and our family. So we are being patient and waiting on Him and doing our part to seek his plan for Jared's new career!

There has also been major sleep deprivation going on in our house this past week! The girls have been really, really sick and its been torture listening to them gasping for air and in so much pain. After a week of steroids, breathing treatments and 3 Dr's visits, a chest xray has finally revealed they have Bronchitis. They are on antibiotics and should be better in a few days and hopefully we will all get some much needed rest.

Jack had a great birthday last week, and he had his checkup Monday (so technically I have been to the Dr. 4 times in the past week and a half!) and he is healthy and big and strong! :) Poor Joey, is wondering when his birthday is since we all had birthday's this month but him and Jared.

I am getting ready for Valentine's day at work with my mom. It's going to be INSANE. Last year she sold 10,000 total from all her Vday order's. So you can imagine how many arrangements we have to make and deliver next week. We are hoping people might spread it out and want some on Thursday or Friday so they can enjoy flowers early. Anyways, if anyone can't find me next week...you now know where I will be! : ) I might as well pack my bags and camp out!

That's the news around here.
