I have been potty training Joey the last few months and I am so excited to finally say he is COMPLETELY potty trained. I just wanted to share this cute story about what he said the other day, but first let me just say that we have had somewhat of a hard time getting him to go in the potty. Unfourtanely our main problem has not been with #1 but #2. Ewwwww, I have thrown away many, many pairs of underwear! :) SO we tried everything, we tried rewards, we tried discipline, we took away his trains, everything, and I would tell him over and over, "You have to be a big boys, big boys go on the potty. Don't you want to be a big boy? You need to be a big boy like Jess, and Alex, and Tanner and all of your friends." Nothing seemed to work until I guess one day it just finally clicked. So...he hasn't had any accidents AT ALL for 3 weeks or so, yeah!!!! So yesterday he was going #2 on the potty, and I was in there with him and I said " Joey, I am so so proud of you, you are such a big boy" and he said "Yes, I am a big boy just like Jess!" I thought that was so sweet, he loves his cousin Jess! So I will have to thank Jess, because in a way, he helped potty train Joey!
Now only one more kid to go!!

Baby Jack's Birthday Parade!
Baby Jack turned one! I can't believe it's already been a year since his birth. We had a parade for him at my mom and dad's house last Sunday. The kid's decorated there bike's and rode up and down the long driveway, the weather turned out to be perfect for it! Jack had a great time, he love's being outside. Everything turned out perfect, well except that he burnt his finger on the birthday candle, that was sad. Poor baby!

A year older....
Well I turned 29 on the 22ND of January! Last year of my twenties, how sad! Maybe I will just keep turning 29 every year! I had a AWESOME birthday this year. Jared and I went to Del Frisco's for dinner, which was amazing! The best steak I EVER had, it just melted in your mouth. We got all dressed up so that was fun and of course didn't take a single picture. I also got to go out for girl's night for my birthday which was fun as always! We went to Mi Cocina and Starbucks afterwards, so nice to get out and get a break. I love that us girls from high school still get together for each other's birthday's, everyone is always amazed when I tell them I am still friends with people from high school. Then on my birthday my parent's took us out to Pappadeaux, one of my favorite restaurant's. Lot's of fun, wish I had some picture's! Gotta get better at remembering to do that.

Gracie and Kylie turned 7!!
Well, it's been awhile since I have posted anything, so I guess I should catch up! We have had a busy month around here, the girls turned 7 on January 3rd! We didn't have a big party this year, instead they invited their cousins Mackenzie, Trinity and also Kayleigh over for a slumber party and I took them all to see Barbie at the Symphony. They had so much fun. I took a few picture's, wish I would have taken more!

IT"S OFFICIAL!
Today is THE DAY!! As of today, Jared is a licensed Edward Jones Financial Advisor! He can start selling and making us some money! There was a 45 day waiting period to become liscensed, from the time he took his tests until today. He is in Arizona this week, for some additional training, so I am at home braving it alone, with all the kids! :)It's amazing how fast the last few months have flown by! We have been surviving on a very small salary during this training period and were concerned with how we would swing it, but we made it! God has provided for us, and we know he will continue to do so over the next few years as Jared establishes his business. If you think about him, please pray for him, that he has favor with every person he comes in contact with and that he will do well!

Gaylord-ICE!
This past weekend my parents treated us and Amy and Ryan to ICE at the Gaylord! It was so much fun. The room you go in is 9 degrees and everything in the room is made of ice! They give you big parka's to go over your jackets, so it wasn't too bad! Amy and Jess went down a 9ft slide made of ice and Amy said her feet were FROZEN standing in line on the icy stairs! The kid's had a blast and even got to see Santa and talk to him for a minute. We tried to take a picture for our Christmas card but I didn't find one worthy enough! : )

Halloween Picture's!
Well better late than never right? We had so much fun on Halloween, we went to the mall and we went to our friend's house and took a hayride trick or treating. They live in the country, and alot of their family lives by them, so we just rode around out there and got lots of candy. The girls both wanted to be Disney princesses and they just HAD to have wigs this year, and Joey picked his chicken costume, he stole the show by running around flapping his wings and making chicken noises. He passed out before we even got started, the pictures turned out so funny, but we managed to get him up in time for the hayride! I just wanted Jack to be comfy and cool so I put on a little baseball outfit he already had. We will now be doing the hayride thing every year, because it was so much fun!
