Halloween Picture's!

Well better late than never right? We had so much fun on Halloween, we went to the mall and we went to our friend's house and took a hayride trick or treating. They live in the country, and alot of their family lives by them, so we just rode around out there and got lots of candy. The girls both wanted to be Disney princesses and they just HAD to have wigs this year, and Joey picked his chicken costume, he stole the show by running around flapping his wings and making chicken noises. He passed out before we even got started, the pictures turned out so funny, but we managed to get him up in time for the hayride! I just wanted Jack to be comfy and cool so I put on a little baseball outfit he already had. We will now be doing the hayride thing every year, because it was so much fun!

Jo-Jo's Birthday party!

On Saturday we went to Jared's parents house to celebrate his dad's birthday. Jared's mom made some yummy gumbo, we had an outdoor fire, roasted marshmallow's, carved pumpkins and had a great time! Jared's parents have alot of land and a beautiful place out in Dennis, it's a great place to take pictures, so I took a bunch of Jack, they turned out so cute!

Parade

The girls had a parade at school on Friday, it turned out so cute and the kids had a blast. Myself and two other moms organized it, we had the mayor,some councilmen, a firetruck, the high school band, cheerleaders, drill team and mascots. Joey, Jack and I walked in it, we walked around the school campus. Each class had a banner with their teacher's name on it and they held it as they walked! Joey had so much fun, he cried when it was over and wanted to keep walking.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

UPDATE: HE PASSED!! He got a stomach bug the day of the test, threw up 3 times during the test (amongst other things we shall not discuss) and still managed an 82!! His next one is thursday, so be praying for him!

In the morning Jared will be taking an 8 hour test to get his Series 7 securities license. (one of 2 licence's that will enable him to sell securities, investments, etc..and essentially enable him to be an Edward Jones Financial Advisor) He has been studying for it for the past 2 months!!! He is really nervous but he has nothing to be nervous about! He took 2 practice exams and scored in the 80's on both, you only have to score a 71 or above to pass, but you only get one shot,if you fail you are fired and can no longer work for Edward Jones. Jared amazes me with his ability to study and do so well in every subject/test/area! He is really smart!! I am proud of him. Anyways, if you think about him tomorrow, just say a quick prayer for him! I will update you all tomorrow night on how his looooong day went!!!

What's new?

Well I haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I would just give you an update on what's new with us!

We are all doing well, Jared is doing really well with his training to be an Edward Jones agent. He takes his first test in a week and half, that will give him one of the liscence's he needs. He is getting nervous about it, but I know he will do well. Then his next big test is two weeks after that, and then Oct 15 he will leave for a week and go to Arizona to do some training. I am not looking foward to that week! : (

I have been adjusting to the girls being back in school and getting used to another new schedule!I have been walking with some mom's at the girls school. We run the kids in and then we walk around the school, 2 times is 1 mile, so we are up to about 3-4 miles! It has given me so much energy, I love it and feel so much better when I do it! It has really motivated me again to start running and excersizing! So now I want to run the White Rock marathon (just the half for me though) in December. I have been asking everyone/anyone to do it with me, so if you are interested let me know! It will be lots of fun!! Then MAYBE next year I could do a full marathon, that is just something I have always wanted to accomplish!!! I am on the PTA board at the girls school, so I have been working alot on that, I enjoy it!

The kids are doing great! The girls love school! I started pottytraining Joey TODAY, whoa!!! He went in the potty for 1st time today! I have been putting it off for quite some time know due to the fact that it was soooo hard with the girls!!! If anyone has any tips for me, please share them! Someone needs to start a potty training camp and we drop off our kids for a couple of weeks, they potty train them, clean up all the accidents, and send them back when they are pottytrained!!That would be nice. Jack is growing so much, he is 7 months old now and is getting big to fast for me! He has been sleeping a little better, and is overall a easy and happy baby!

1st day of school

The girls went back to school yesterday! They were excited and ready to go back, I was not!!! I enjoyed sleeping in and I also love having them home, I really miss them when they are gone all day! I am that mom that stands at the door and doesn't want to walk away, and when I do, I cry...at least at first, then I get used to it! They are so little still...my baby girls! Anyway, they like their teacher alot and know 2 kids in their class from last year! They got picked to be in the gifted and talented class, so we are very proud of them. They got to be in the same class again this year, which I think is awesome! It's just easier for me and they want to be together, they aren't competitive or anything, so I am all for it! As you can see in the pictures, Joey wanted to bring his lunch box and thought he was going to school too!

Our weekend trip to San Antonio

Last weekend we went to San Antonio for a little getaway. We were not able to take a vacation this summer due to Jared switching job's last month! So we decided to go see our close friend's, the Damiano's in San Antonio. Jared met my good friend Angela in California when he was in language school in the military! She was in the Navy and they took a class together and realized that we were getting married the same day as her and her hubby. Since then we have become very close friends, we all got stationed together in San Angelo, then were neighbors in San Antonio for 4 years. We have gotten to share so many big things together, it's kinda scary when we think about how similar our lives have been. So I already mentioned we both got married on August 29, 1998. We were pregnant with our first babies at the same time and our due dates were actually only 4 days apart, (but of course as you all know, the girls decide to make there appearance 3 months early) so her son Josiah and the girls are the same age! Then we bought our first house's the same month, had our 2nd babies, (well really my 3rd) within 6 months of each other, and then I had Jack 3 weeks after she had her baby Jonah! So it has been fun to share these things with them. After we all got out of the military they stayed there and her husband works for the San Antonio Fire Department as a Fireman and also a Paramedic. He is obviously a special guy since as you all know, it takes a special person to have that occupation! Angela is a stay at home mommy like me, and we talk alot on the phone and try to see each other once or twice a year. We mainly just hung out with them at there house and didn't do a whole lot due to the HEAT and the excessive amount of children we have combined! : ) We did manage to go to our favorite mexican food place while we were there, La Fogatta! It was yummy! So we had a good time! Can't wait to go back!
